Anand Sagar graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Science from St. Xavier’s College in Bombay in 1964. His film career began as a clapper boy and Assistant Art Director with ‘Arzoo’.
Anand Sagar was also for many years the Chief Production Executive for the Sagar Camp.
‘Hamrahi’ which turned out to be a grosser at the box office all over India launched him as a full-fledged director and brought him the distinction of a maiden silver jubilee hit.

‘Hamrahi’ won over 25 awards including Best Picture and Best Director. ‘Rambharose’, ‘Pyara Dushman’, ‘Armaan’ and ‘Baadal’ followed as box office successes with silver jubilee runs at prestigious cinemas in the country.
‘Hari om Hari’, the all time hit song of 1981, triggered off the disco culture all over India. “Ramba ho Samba ho” yet another scintillating song in ‘Armaan’ got him a Gold Disc from HMV.
He has co-directed with his legendary father Ramanand Sagar the all time successful ‘Ramayan’ and ‘Shri Krishna’ - blockbusters of Indian T.V.

He has also co-directed ‘Alif laila’ (Arabian Night) with his brothers Prem Sagar and Moti Sagar.
Anand has also been involved in the production of shows such as ‘Hatim’, ‘Hello Dollie’ and ‘Hotel’ on Star Plus, latest being Arsalan and Jo Ishq Ki Marzi Woh Rab Ki Marzi. He is also directing the latest Ramayan (NDTV Imagine.)

Producer, director, cinematographer Prem Sagar shot into the limelight as a student of Film & Television Institute of India (FTII - Pune) by winning the Gold Medal for best academic student and also the Silver Medal for best photographed film.
As director of photography, his very first motion picture ‘Lalkar’ won for him numerous awards all over India. Ever since, he has bagged over 15 awards for photography of ‘Jalte Badan’, ‘Hamrahi’, ‘Charas’, ‘Ram Bharose’ etc.
He made his debut as producer and director with ‘Hum Tere Aashiq Hain’ inspired by George Bernard Shaw’s ‘Pygmalion’ starring the ever-popular star pair Hema Malini and Jeetendra.

With the boom of television in India, Prem Sagar stepped into the production of TV programmes. His serial ‘King Vikram and the Ghost’ (Vikram Aur Betaal) created history waves with television audience in India winning 5 awards including Uptron Award for Great Television Performance and All India Filmgoers Award for Most Outstanding Television Serial.
Prem Sagar has also received the honour of being an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain (ARPS) as well as the honour of Artiste Federation Internationale de l’Arts Photographique – Paris (AFIAP).
He has received International Recognition winning the UNESCO Award in Tokyo instituted by Asian Cultural Centre Silver Medal at Oregon State Fair USA and two Bronze Medals at Santiago Chile.

During 1986-87, Prem Sagar was appointed on Western Region Selection Panel of Panorama of 10th International Film Festival of India.
For many years he has also been a Member of Selection Board of Union Public Service Commission of India (UPSC) and Lecturer, Examiner and Member of the selection panel for the Film & Television Institute of India (FTII).

In 1999, Prem Sagar was a Jury Member for Videocon Screen Awards (Television) attended by Governor for the Oscar Award / Academy of Motion Picture Art & Science Mr. Richard Edlund and on the Board of Patrons for Lux-Zee Cine Awards and also on the Panel for judging the Best Effect (Visuals) for ZEE Cine Awards.
He was the technical advisor and also the Marketing Director for ‘Ramayan’ the blockbuster in the history of Indian T.V. He was the Co-Producer and Marketing Director of the T.V. serial Krishna.

Prem presently handles the marketing and business development for the group. He was the director of Jai Maa Durga and presently directing Mahima Shani Dev ki (NDTV imagine) and Kahaniya Vikram aur Betaal ki (Colors).

Jyoti heads a multi-platform post production studio in Mumbai under the Sagar umbrella and has over 10 years of experience in the technical and financial aspects of the media and entertainment business.

Jyoti has done special effects for various genres of television shows such as Shri Krishna, Jai Ganga Maiya, Jai Maha Laxmi, Amar, Son Pari, Hatim, Shaka Laka Boom Boom, Kal Chakra and Saarthi having handled esteemed clients like Star TV, UTV, Aradhana Films, Sagar Entertainment, Wipro and ITC.
The post production studio in Mumbai includes IRIX (SGI), Macintosh and Windows systems. It is capable of handling non-linear editing, visual effects, 3D and 2D animation and digital audio for dubbing, mixing and finishing.

He is currently Vice-Chairman ACM Siggraph Mumbai (India) and has been a SME for Confederation of Indian Industries on “Broadband Economy Task Force”.

Jyoti other than being involved in the post-production and marketing of his special effects studio also handles the finance for the entire Sagar Group.

Shakti Sagar is a graduate from the University of Notre Dame in USA completing his major in Business Management and Films. Shakti has written and directed short films and documentaries including “City of Dreams” for an NGO called Pratham.

Shakti has directed many television shows such as Shri Krishna (DD), Jai Ganga Maiya (DD), Jai Mahalaxmi (DD), Alif Laila (DD) and children’s shows namely “Bach Ke Rehna Re” (DD) and “Hatim” (Star Plus), Hello Dollie (Star Plus) as a creative head, Akar Bakkar Bambe Bo (Star Plus), Arsalan (Sony), and Ramayan (NDTV Imagine).
He is currently working as creative head of a television show called Jo Ishq Ki Marzi Woh Rab Ki Marzi (Sahara one)

Shiv Sagar is a gold medalist from reputed hotel school Les Roches in Switzerland. He has also completed his MBA from the Indian School of Business (ISB) in Hyderabad. ISB is the first International Business School in India partnering with Kellogg, Wharton and London Business School.

Shiv has experience in managing and marketing of hotels for the Sagar Group in Manali and Haridwar. He was also involved in the production/direction of television shows such as Gurukul on Star Plus Channel. He has participated in IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions) shows in Atlanta and Singapore.

Shiv has been actively involved in the non-profit world in India. He was the President of the Net Impact Club at the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad. He has held charity concerts with top musicians of India for fund raising for government schools and NGO’s. He is the founder of an NGO called PHS – Professionals for Human Security which runs a volunteer program in a government school in Mumbai. He also produced a documentary film titled “City of Dreams” for an NGO called Pratham in Mumbai.

Shiv is currently working on a project, "Sagar World" on the outskirts of Mumbai, a theme park based on Indian mythology and culture on 100 acres of land.

Shiv is also currently the creative producer for Mahima Shani dev ki ( NDTV imagine) and Kahaniya Vikram aur betaal ki (Colors). He is working on new television show and a full length feature film also.
